Once you’ve done the Famine, don’t wait to start helping save kids’ lives. Send your funds to World Vision right away and start making a difference. Here’s how:

  1. Grab your Donation Toolkit.

It’s got your Control Sheet, a Priority MailTM envelope, and a business reply envelope.

  1. Go through each student’s collection envelope.

Total the cash and checks inside each one and add any funds the student raised online.

  1. Fill out the Control Sheet.

Write down each student’s name and donation total. Be sure to indicate the reward(s) they earned.

  1. Convert any cash.

Add up any cash you find in your students’ collection envelopes and give it to your church in exchange for a check to World Vision for the same amount. On the memo line, write the word “cash” and your Famine account number.

  1. Double-check and make a copy.

Once you’re sure everything’s accurate, make a copy of your Control Sheet for your records. You’ll need it to remind you who gets which rewards when they arrive.

  1. Send!

Put all the checks and your original Control Sheet in the Priority MailTM envelope and drop it in the mailbox. Hang onto your copy of the Control Sheet.

What about that other envelope? Use it to send in any late-breaking donations you get after your Famine event.
