Description:
Instruct students to pair up. Once everyone has a partner call out orders like:

• “Head to head” (partners put their heads together)
• “Foot to back” (one partner has to put their foot on the other’s back)
• “Elbow to armpit” (this one gets them laughing)

Use discretion with your orders if you have any boy/girl partners. When ready, call out “birdie on a perch.” One partner must kneel on one knee with the other knee up, which the other partner sits on. The last pair (or few pairs if you have a large group) to do so are out.
