Welcome to TRIBE: Indonesia! An exciting and meaningful adventure awaits you and your youth group. You’ll find all the instructions you need right here, as well as PDF files of all the printed materials you’ll need to download for the games.

 

In an effort to save money (and trees), printed versions of the TRIBE game are no longer available. By downloading and printing your own TRIBE game, you’ll help World Vision send even more of YOUR funds to the field. Thanks for your help and understanding!

 

Here’s how to get started.

 

  1. Download and print a copy of the Leader’s Guide.  (Get your copy here.)

     

  2. Read through the Leader’s Guide. Familiarize yourself with TRIBE: Indonesia before doing anything else. The guide contains complete game descriptions, as well as Bible discussion and journaling ideas to use after each game.
     
    It will also help you prepare for TRIBE ahead of time, with details on how to set up for each game and specific lists of materials you’ll need to gather in advance. And it includes scripts and step-by-step instructions for leading your group through the TRIBE: Indonesia experience.

     

  3. Download and print the “I Am” identity cards for your tribe members. We recommend printing these on cardstock-quality paper, as they will be handed out to individual students the day of the game. The complete set is 30 cards—there are five tribes with six members each—so print one set and determine if you need extras based on the size of your group (see the Leader’s Guide). There are "I AM" cards for each Tribe: 
           Borneo
           Sumatra
           Java
           Papau
           Madura

  4. Download and print the Survival Cards. Like the “I Am” cards, we recommend printing these on cardstock-quality paper as well, since they will be handed out to tribes as rewards for winning different TRIBE games. Get the Survival Cards here.

  • Earthquake Survivor: Questions and Answer Sheet 
    Download and print one copy of each question on cardstock or other heavy paper. (The answers to these questions are found on pages 13-15 of the TRIBE Leader Guide.) Get the cards themselves here.
     
  • Kata Kata! Educational Facts
    Download and print two copies of each fact on 8-1/2” x 11” cardstock or other heavy material (you should not be able to see through the paper once it’s printed). Get the Kata! Kata! facts here.
     
  • Indonesian Drama: Cast of Characters and Play Scenes
    Download and print one copy for each tribe. Get the Cast and Play Scenes material here.
     
  • Country Cards
    This document contains one card for each country. Get your Country Cards here.
