Study Tour winners announced!
 

We are very proud to announce that the following groups have been selected to travel to Malawi this summer on the Nazarene 30 hour Famine Study Tour:

  • Real Life Community Church. Congrats to Sherri, Olivia, and Savannah.

  • Hutchinson First Nazarene. Congrats to Beth, Elizabeth, Kelsey, and Mitchell.

For the rest of our applicants, thank you SO much for your partnership with NCM and World Vision on behalf of the children in northern Malawi. Every single application was excellent, and all were definetely deserving of the opportunity.

Every year, a small group of leaders and students are selected to travel overseas to see how their Famine funds are being used.

 

The 2008 Study Tour destination is the Mzimba area of northen Malawi. The trip will take place some time in July 2008, with the exact dates to be set once the groups are selected and tickets can be booked.

To qualify, a student must have participated in the 30 Hour Famine and raised enough to feed and care for a child for one year ($360) or more. A leader must have at least one student in their group who raised $360. A leader can only go with at least one qualifying student, and each leader can apply with a maximum of three students from their group. A student may apply without their leader if the leader is unable or unwilling to go.
