Our student ministry does a retreat every year called Encounter, this year we decided that the weekend needed something more. We figured that the 30 Hour Famine was the best thing for our group. So we aptly name our retreat Encounter Hunger: 30 Hour Famine. Our students have always had a passion in people in need so this event really encouraged them and gave them insight to people around the world who go hungry every day.
