Raise Funds To Fight Hunger

Famine Study Tour

***Update for 2016 ***

Study tour for the 2016 year has been cancelled. We would like to apologize for any confusion this may have caused.  Please come back to this page for any changes in 2017.

What is the Study Tour?

Each summer, the Famine team selects a group of students for the international trip of a lifetime: visiting a World Vision community overseas to see firsthand how children’s lives are changed!

But don’t think of this as a mission trip. Think of it as an opportunity for students to learn firsthand from local community members and come away with a broader understanding of global hunger and poverty — equipping them to become even stronger ambassadors for the poor.

*In an effort to make the Study Tour trip more accessible to students of all financial backgrounds, World Vision will contribute, for each student selected, a dollar amount equal to what was personally raised for the 30 Hour Famine by that student. Please note that all funds raised for the 30 Hour Famine will go toward food security projects around the world through World Vision hunger programs.
